The ideal candidate for this position will be able to drive regional and OTR routes, home after 7-14 days out, and be willing to join our company for long-term employment.

• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures and applicable regulations.
• Operate tractor and dry van trailer to transport goods throughout the region.
• Drive safely and follow all applicable traffic laws.
• Adhere to company driving policies and regulations concerning vehicle condition, driver conduct, hours of operation, etc.
• Follow all DOT rules governing hours of service including recertification requirements.
• Pick up at shipper sites and deliver to recipient sites.
• Communicate with dispatcher and in-cab radio regarding delivery locations and estimated times of arrival; learn the geographical layout of territory, locations of customers, and routes between them., Work a particular route for increasing length of time working that route.

• Coordinate and schedule shipments and deliveries to meet customer requirements and deadlines.
• Communicate with drivers, suppliers, and customers to ensure accurate and timely pick-ups and deliveries.
• Monitor and track shipments using various tracking systems, ensuring real-time updates and resolving any issues that may arise. .
• Maintain accurate records of all shipments, including tracking numbers, delivery times, and any incidents or delays.
• Collaborate with warehouse personnel to ensure the availability and proper handling of goods for shipment.
• Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
• Continuously evaluate and improve logistical processes to enhance productivity and operational effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
• Prepare and generate reports, analyzing data related to shipments, delivery performance, and logistics operations.
